Butyl tape also known as damping tape, sound dampening tape, vibration dampening tape and waterproof sealing tapes, is used to reduce noise, squeaks, rattles, vibration and sealing in the automotive, marine, aerospace, elevator, electronic and construction industries.
Butyl damping tape is specially devoleped with exellent performance in noise dampening and vibration dampening.
The products listed below with our standard specification can be varied from different adhesive, carrier, liner or total thickness. Customized services available upon request.
1) Features
● conformable and resistant to cold, heat, water, and sunlight.
2)Application
● can be applied inside the car body, all areas subject to vibration such as firewall, floor panels, trunk compartment panels, wheel arches, roof, doors and hatches.
●Apply to elevator car for noise dampening and vibration dampening.
●Provides sound dampening and improves acoustics
● Used to reduce or eliminate noise, vibration & harshness
●Used for roof bow bonding, pillar filler, fuel filler gasket & acoustics
● Used for drain holes, acoustics, body sealers & limited flow hood mastic.
